Common pests we treat

Copy paraphrased from the live Bug Busters services page (/copy-of-services). No invented rates.

  • Ants Ants come in many sizes and by the thousands. Some are a nuisance; some can damage a home as seriously as termites.
  • Bed bugs After decades of treating pests in Western Washington, bed bugs remain among the most difficult to eliminate.
  • Rodents Mice and rats are part of the Northwest. Mild winters have meant growing rodent pressure around homes.
  • Roaches Anyone can bring a roach home — in a grocery bag, a pizza box, or even a mail-order package.
  • Box elder bugs Common near evergreens. They seek winter shelter in homes and often return year after year with more of their family.
  • Stink bugs Less common historically in Western Washington, but increasingly a nuisance as climate shifts. Often mistaken for roaches.
  • Wasps & yellow jackets They can appear without warning — and when they do, most people want them gone immediately.
  • Termites Not the largest structural threat in Western Washington, but when termites are found they are always active.
  • Spiders A frequent request. Most Western Washington spiders are harmless, but webs become a nuisance wherever people walk.
